Vision and Mission
Galen R. Elolf Elementary was opened in August of 1994 in Judson ISD. It is located in the Meadowbrook Subdivision off of FM 78 and Beech Trail. The school was named in honor of our Superintendent Galen R. Elolf who had served JISD since July of 1981.
Elolf Elementary opened under the leadership of Principal Kathleen Wilkinson and Assistant Principal Doris Cleaver. The school colors were established at this time as blue and gold, and the mascot as the Thunderbolt. The student body was K-6 in the first year with a diverse population and rich in military families.
Currently Elolf is a school with 520 students and 65 staff. Elolf is led by Scott Wilson our Principal and Tiffany McHugh our Assistant Principal. Elolf Elementary students' needs are met through special programs such as: TAG, Dyslexia, Special Education, content based ESL, and RtI. We are proud to support our students special interests by allowing students the opportunity to join teacher sponsored clubs such as: Chess Club, Reading Club, Jump Rope Team, Farm to Market Gardening Club, Choir, Music Memory, Honor Choir, Decoration Team, School Store Helpers and Safety Patrol.
