Mr. Scott Wilson

Dear Elolf STEAM Academy Family,

My name is Scott Wilson  and this will be my 20th year in education.  I am starting  my 10^th year at Judson. During that time, I was an assistant principal at the middle school level for 3 years (Kitty Hawk/New Braunfels), 1 year at the high school level (Wagner HS) and 1 year at the elementary level (Elolf). I am the proud principal of the new Elolf STEAM Academy! This will be my 6th year as principal and 7th year at the Elolf STEAM academy.I taught in the classroom and coached for 9 years as a high school science teacher and coach at Marshall HS in Northside ISD. I graduated from Texas A&M  with a BS degree.  I am a fight'n Texas A&M graduate class of 00. I went back to school in 2007 to obtain a Master’s degree in school administration.  I graduated from Concordia University with my masters in 2009. 

My wife of 25 years and I have three beautiful girls (22yr old , 17yr old  and 4yr.old ). During my time as principal, my team and I have transformed the campus from a traditional campus to a STEAM academy. This is our second year as a STEAM academy. We have also been able to go from a C campus rating to a B campus rating this year with a score of  89 with 4 distinctions. I attribute all the success to a great staff, great students and a supportive community and a PTO. The key to having great success is building capacity among the people that support you and being transparent with everyone involved. The end result speaks for itself.
